You command Strahm to use Pound at the same time as Barry tells Turtwig to tackle. The two Pokemon charge at each other. Strahm pounds Turtwig directly on it's head, causing both Pokemon to be damaged by the other's attack.

Strahm hurt his (yes, it's a boy) arm a little, but is otherwise okay. Turtwig charges in for another tackle!
